EDUCATING THE YOUNG BY TURNING A TRADITIONAL BUS SHELTER INTO A NEW MEDIA.
PROBLEM: How can we motivate school children to consistently clean their teeth, even with their strong affinity for sweets?
SOLUTION: Building the world’s Largest Ant Farm to Visually Stimulate and Educate Children
To highlight the significance of regular toothbrushing to school children, we constructed ant farms modeled after a tooth, inhabited by real ants. These interactive displays were positioned at bus shelters near school stops. Over time, children can observe the progression of what resembles tooth decay within these ant farms, visually demonstrating the long-term impact on oral health if proper brushing habits are not maintained.
